Railway Children
I was recently the official stills photographer on the set of a short film produced for homeless charity, Railway Children – check out the resulting video here. The location was a disused factory in East Ham although some portraits were also taken in the basement car park of production company Mustard’s office in Soho.
The film was directed by Dom Bridges and some of the shots now form part of the print campaign (above) and new website designed by agency Peak 15. See other portaits and interiors in the Flickr set here »
Driving Jarvis Ham

Frank recently contributed a photograph of a greasy spoon to the cover of the new novel by Jim Bob, former singer with 90s crust-punk indie crossover act Carter the Unstoppable Sex machine. The book is published by The Friday Project, an experimental imprint of Harper Collins (Design and typography by Iambeak). Pick up a copy here or check out more ‘greasy spoon’ pics here.
Shoe much time on his hands

The youth squad here at Frank (or Nigel as he’s otherwise known) has just photographed his collection of Vans shoes, trainers, hi-tops and flip-flops and the blogosphere has rightly gone crazy. Even Vans themselves have tweeted about them. Check out the Flickr collection here.
Blue Thursday

A small piece about my other life as a semi-pro photo-monkey is now online at the ThePrintSpace blog. Thanks to Wido Falkenstein for asking me to do it, and to The Print Space for providing such great printing services.
Like Vitamins For The Eyes

Andy’s too modest to blog this, but I thought it worth a mention. His recent upload to Frank Design Fotos on Flickr has received a very nice comment from bildministeriet – “These wonderful colors are like vitamines for the eyes!”
Frank fotos update

Been busy putting my latest rangefinder camera through its paces recently, the Voigtlander Bessa R3A, it’s like a Leica but at a fraction of the price, check out some of the pics here
FRANK FOTOS ROLL OUT

Coin-operated

The ongoing Crap city photo project has now been expanded with a whole bunch of Coin-op launderette images. Assuming the Frank scanner holds out, more stuff will be coming online shortly…
